The World’s Largest Machine
Gun Shoot

UK AK47’s,
M16’s, UZI’s, Assault Rifles,
Flamethrowers, Cannons and Napalm are just
some of the combat hardware in use at the
World’s Largest Machine Gun Shoot.
Whether you want to stock up on ammo, buy
a copy of “The Anarchist’s Cookbook”,
test your skills on the “sub-machine
gun jungle run” or blow-up an old
chevrolet just for fun; the choice is yours.
You can even buy a tank for home-defence,
if so desired.
Twice
a year thousands of men, women and children
from all walks of life, descend on Knob
Creek Gun Range, Bullitt County, Kentucky,
to experience the finest display of weapons
outside a battlefield. An estimated 30,000
people are believed to have attended the
three-day event. A diverse selection of
gun fanatics dressed according to their
beliefs, are there to show, buy, or merely
admire guns, ammo, literature and meet like-minded
people.
Strong
emotions were evident amongst the participants,
who included war veterans, Militia members,
2nd Amendment supporters, and those who
displayed an attachment to the Nazi cause.
The atmosphere was incredibly emotional
in light of 9/11. Slogans such as “don’t
mess with US” saturated the event.
Shooting targets of Bin Laden’s face
were in abundance, as were patriotic messages
and American flags.
The highlight is the night shoot, where
the whole main range containing a vast selection
of derelict objects is set-upon by flamethrowers,
napalm, machine guns and dynamite. The climax
is deafening and spectacular. The only pre-requisite
is a pair of earplugs.
